Monday, Oct. 3 – First Quarter Moon 00:14 UT (Universal Time) or 8:14 p.m., Oct 2, EDT
Tuesday, Oct. 4 – bright star, Antares, in Scorpius, sets in SW at 8:45 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 5 – Waxing Gibbous Moon to the lower left of Saturn
Thursday, Oct. 6 – Big Dipper at its lowest in north around 11:30 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 7 – Waxing Gibbous Moon to the right of Jupiter (planet very bright)
Saturday, Oct. 8 – Almost Full Moon to the lower left of Jupiter
Sunday, Oct. 9 – Full Hunter’s Moon, 4:55 p.m.
